so many of you have been asking me how to make napkins so i decided to make a little tutorial for all of you. don't worry, you don't need a master's in sewing arts for this one - this is about as easy as it gets! all you need is an iron and a lot of patience (depending on your guest count, you may just be a sewing professional by the time you finish!) enjoy and please let me know what you think.
Oh, and please share your lovely creations!

Yay! Thank you so much! I fell in love with a fabric at the etsy shop you used but 25 yards gets pretty expensive! Hopefully, I can find a more reasonable seller so I can use this tutorial! You're the best!
oh goodness, i had so much fabric because i also made a runner for the candy table (incidentally it never got used but ah well) :) do the math to figure out how much you'd need for the amount of napkins you need...
Ok, so I truly am a sewing novice, so bear with me: do I just sew around the hem the one time after the second ironing, or do I sew after I iron the first hem as well? Also, what is considered a reasonable price for a yard of fabric? Thanks a lot and I can't wait to try my hand at this project!!
Katie: you only have to sew after the second ironing. just iron it REALLY well so it all lays flat when it's time to run through the machine.
i think i paid $12/yard for our fabric. good fabric usually runs $10-20/yard and up.
good luck!
